Ryzen 9 6900HS vs Core i7-1360P benchmarks

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Ryzen 9 6900HS is faster than the Core i7-1360P. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i7-1360P in all gaming tests too.

In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Core i7-1360P has significantly more cores than the Ryzen 9 6900HS. Indeed, the Core i7-1360P has 12 cores compared to 8 cores found in the Ryzen 9 6900HS. But they both have the same number of threads. Our comparison shows that the Ryzen 9 6900HS has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Core i7-1360P. Despite this, the Core i7-1360P has a slightly higher turbo speed. The data shows that both these CPUs have same sized L2 caches. The Core i7-1360P also has slightly more L3 cache.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Ryzen 9 6900HS has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
