Ryzen 9 3900X vs Core i7-11700 specs and performance

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Ryzen 9 3900X performs better than the Core i7-11700. Despite this, the Core i7-11700 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Ryzen 9 3900X has significantly more cores than the Core i7-11700. Indeed, the Ryzen 9 3900X has 12 cores compared to 8 cores found in the Core i7-11700. It also has more threads than the Core i7-11700.
