Ryzen 9 3900X vs Core i5-12600K specs and performance

In our benchmarks, the Core i5-12600K beats the Ryzen 9 3900X in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 9 3900X in all gaming tests too.

In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Ryzen 9 3900X has slightly more cores than the Core i5-12600K. Indeed, the Ryzen 9 3900X has 12 cores compared to 10 cores found in the Core i5-12600K. It also has more threads than the Core i5-12600K. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 9 3900X has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core i5-12600K. Despite this, the Core i5-12600K has a slightly higher turbo speed.
