Ryzen 7 PRO 3700 vs Core i9-13900H benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Ryzen 7 PRO 3700 is faster than the Core i9-13900H. Despite this, the Core i9-13900H has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Core i9-13900H has significantly more cores with 14 cores compared to the Ryzen 7 PRO 3700 that has 8 cores. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 7 PRO 3700. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 7 PRO 3700 has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core i9-13900H. When comparing cache sizes, these CPUs have an identical amount of L2 cache. The Ryzen 7 PRO 3700 also has slightly more L3 cache.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Ryzen 7 PRO 3700 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
