Ryzen 7 8845HS vs Ryzen 7 8700G benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the Ryzen 7 8700G beats the Ryzen 7 8845HS in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 7 8845HS in all gaming tests too.
Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 7 8700G has a slightly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 7 8845HS. In addition, both chips have the same turbo speed. A Ryzen 7 8845HS CPU outputs less heat than a Ryzen 7 8700G CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The data shows that both these CPUs have same sized L2 caches and L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Ryzen 7 8845HS has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
