Ryzen 7 7735H vs Core i9-9900KS comparison

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i9-9900KS is faster than the Ryzen 7 7735H. Despite this, the Ryzen 7 7735H has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores and the same number of threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Core i9-9900KS has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Ryzen 7 7735H. In terms of cache, the Ryzen 7 7735H has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i9-9900KS. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Ryzen 7 7735H has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
