In our benchmarks, the Core i7-12850HX beats the Ryzen 7 7700 in overall performance. Despite this, the Ryzen 7 7700 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Core i7-12850HX has significantly more cores than the Ryzen 7 7700. Indeed, the Core i7-12850HX has 16 cores compared to 8 cores found in the Ryzen 7 7700. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 7 7700.
