Ryzen 7 5700X vs Core i5-13600KF benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i5-13600KF is faster than the Ryzen 7 5700X. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 7 5700X in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i5-13600KF has significantly more cores with 14 cores whereas the Ryzen 7 5700X has 8 cores. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 7 5700X. Our comparison shows that the Core i5-13600KF has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Ryzen 7 5700X. Also, the Core i5-13600KF has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Ryzen 7 5700X CPU outputs less heat than a Core i5-13600KF CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Core i5-13600KF has significantly more L2 cache than the Ryzen 7 5700X. Despite this, the Ryzen 7 5700X has slightly more L3 cache compared to the Core i5-13600KF.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Ryzen 7 5700X has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
