Ryzen 7 5700X vs Core i5-13600K comparison

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i5-13600K performs better than the Ryzen 7 5700X. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 7 5700X in all gaming tests too.

Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores but the Ryzen 7 5700X has more threads. Our comparison shows that the Ryzen 7 5700X has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i5-13600K. Despite this, the Core i5-13600K has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Ryzen 7 5700X CPU outputs less heat than a Core i5-13600K CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, both these CPUs have the same amount of L2 cache. The Ryzen 7 5700X also has slightly more L3 cache.

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Ryzen 7 5700X has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
