Ryzen 7 4800HS vs Core i5-10500T specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Ryzen 7 4800HS is faster than the Core i5-10500T. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i5-10500T in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Ryzen 7 4800HS has slightly more cores with 8 cores whereas the Core i5-10500T has 6 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i5-10500T. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Ryzen 7 4800HS has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i5-10500T. Also, the Ryzen 7 4800HS has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Core i5-10500T outputs less heat than Ryzen 7 4800HS thanks to a slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. Indeed, the Ryzen 7 4800HS has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
