Ryzen 7 3750H vs FX-8320 comparison

In our benchmarks, the Ryzen 7 3750H beats the FX-8320 in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the FX-8320 in all gaming tests too.

When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the FX-8320 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 7 3750H. A Ryzen 7 3750H CPU outputs less heat than a FX-8320 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the FX-8320 has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Ryzen 7 3750H. The FX-8320 also has significantly more L3 cache.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones.
