Ryzen 7 3750H vs Core i7-9700F specs and performance

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i7-9700F performs better than the Ryzen 7 3750H. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 7 3750H in all gaming tests too.

In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Core i7-9700F has significantly more cores than the Ryzen 7 3750H. Indeed, the Core i7-9700F has 8 cores compared to 4 cores found in the Ryzen 7 3750H. But they both have the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i7-9700F has a slightly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 7 3750H. A Ryzen 7 3750H CPU outputs less heat than a Core i7-9700F CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. When comparing cache sizes, these CPUs have an identical amount of L2 cache. The Core i7-9700F also has significantly more L3 cache.

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Ryzen 7 3750H has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
