Ryzen 7 2700X vs Ryzen 5 5500 specs and performance

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Ryzen 5 5500 performs better than the Ryzen 7 2700X. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 7 2700X in all gaming tests too.

With info from our database, we find that the Ryzen 7 2700X has slightly more cores with 8 cores whereas the Ryzen 5 5500 has 6 cores. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 5 5500.
