Ryzen 7 2700X vs Core i5-14500T benchmarks

With info from our database, we find that the Core i5-14500T has significantly more cores with 14 cores whereas the Ryzen 7 2700X has 8 cores. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 7 2700X. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 7 2700X has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i5-14500T. Despite this, the Core i5-14500T has a slightly higher turbo speed. In terms of cache, the Core i5-14500T has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Ryzen 7 2700X. The Core i5-14500T also has significantly more L3 cache.

This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Ryzen 7 2700X has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
