Ryzen 7 2700 vs Xeon E5-2683 v3 specs and performance
In our benchmarks, the Xeon E5-2683 v3 beats the Ryzen 7 2700 in overall performance. Despite this, the Ryzen 7 2700 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Xeon E5-2683 v3 has significantly more cores with 14 cores compared to the Ryzen 7 2700 that has 8 cores. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 7 2700. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 7 2700 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Xeon E5-2683 v3.
