Ryzen 7 2700 vs Core i7-1360P specs and performance

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-1360P is faster than the Ryzen 7 2700. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 7 2700 in all gaming tests too.

When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Core i7-1360P has significantly more cores with 12 cores compared to the Ryzen 7 2700 that has 8 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Ryzen 7 2700 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Core i7-1360P. Despite this, the Core i7-1360P has a slightly higher turbo speed. The data shows that both these CPUs have same sized L2 caches. The Core i7-1360P also has slightly more L3 cache.

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Ryzen 7 2700 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
