Ryzen 7 1800X vs Ryzen Threadripper 1900X comparison

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Ryzen Threadripper 1900X is faster than the Ryzen 7 1800X. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 7 1800X in all gaming tests too.

Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen Threadripper 1900X has a slightly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 7 1800X. A Ryzen 7 1800X CPU outputs less heat than a Ryzen Threadripper 1900X CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. When comparing cache sizes, these CPUs have an identical amount of L2 cache and L3 cache.

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Ryzen 7 1800X has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
