Ryzen 7 1800X vs Core i5-13450HX benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the Core i5-13450HX beats the Ryzen 7 1800X in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 7 1800X in all gaming tests too.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Core i5-13450HX has slightly more cores with 10 cores compared to the Ryzen 7 1800X that has 8 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Ryzen 7 1800X has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Core i5-13450HX. Despite this, the Core i5-13450HX has a slightly higher turbo speed. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Core i5-13450HX has significantly more L2 cache than the Ryzen 7 1800X. The Core i5-13450HX also has slightly more L3 cache.
