Ryzen 7 1700X vs Core i7-11600H benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-11600H is faster than the Ryzen 7 1700X. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 7 1700X in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Ryzen 7 1700X has slightly more cores with 8 cores whereas the Core i7-11600H has 6 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i7-11600H. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Ryzen 7 1700X has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i7-11600H. Despite this, the Core i7-11600H has a slightly higher turbo speed. The info from our database shows that the Core i7-11600H has more L2 cache than the Ryzen 7 1700X. The Core i7-11600H also has slightly more L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Ryzen 7 1700X has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
