Ryzen 5 7600 vs Core i7-13700H specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-13700H is faster than the Ryzen 5 7600. Despite this, the Ryzen 5 7600 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Core i7-13700H has significantly more cores with 14 cores compared to the Ryzen 5 7600 that has 6 cores. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 5 7600. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 5 7600 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i7-13700H. The info from our database shows that the Core i7-13700H has more L2 cache than the Ryzen 5 7600. Despite this, the Ryzen 5 7600 has slightly more L3 cache compared to the Core i7-13700H.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Ryzen 5 7600 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
