Ryzen 5 7235HS vs Ryzen Z2 Go specs and performance

In our benchmarks, the Ryzen 5 7235HS beats the Ryzen Z2 Go in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen Z2 Go in all gaming tests too.

Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores and the same number of threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Ryzen 5 7235HS has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Ryzen Z2 Go. Despite this, the Ryzen Z2 Go has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Ryzen Z2 Go outputs less heat than Ryzen 5 7235HS thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The data shows that both these CPUs have same sized L2 caches and L3 cache.

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Ryzen 5 7235HS has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
