Ryzen 5 5600X vs Ryzen 7 2700 comparison

In our benchmarks, the Ryzen 5 5600X beats the Ryzen 7 2700 in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 7 2700 in all gaming tests too.

With info from our database, we find that the Ryzen 7 2700 has slightly more cores with 8 cores whereas the Ryzen 5 5600X has 6 cores. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 5 5600X. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 5 5600X has a slightly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 7 2700. Also, the Ryzen 5 5600X has a slightly higher turbo speed. Both these chips have an identical TDP (Thermal Design Power). This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
