Ryzen 5 5600X vs A10-7800 comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Ryzen 5 5600X is faster than the A10-7800. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A10-7800 in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Ryzen 5 5600X has significantly more cores with 6 cores whereas the A10-7800 has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the A10-7800. Our comparison shows that the Ryzen 5 5600X has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the A10-7800. Also, the Ryzen 5 5600X has a slightly higher turbo speed. Both these chips have an identical TDP (Thermal Design Power). This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the A10-7800 has slightly more L2 cache when compared to the Ryzen 5 5600X
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Ryzen 5 5600X has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
