Ryzen 5 5600U vs Ryzen 5 PRO 4650G benchmarks

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Ryzen 5 PRO 4650G performs better than the Ryzen 5 5600U. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 5 5600U in all gaming tests too.

Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 5 PRO 4650G has a significantly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 5 5600U. In addition, both chips have the same turbo speed. A Ryzen 5 5600U CPU outputs less heat than a Ryzen 5 PRO 4650G CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. When comparing cache sizes, these CPUs have an identical amount of L2 cache. The Ryzen 5 5600U also has significantly more L3 cache.

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Ryzen 5 5600U has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
