Ryzen 5 5600H vs Ryzen Threadripper 1920X benchmarks

In our benchmarks, the Ryzen Threadripper 1920X beats the Ryzen 5 5600H in overall performance. Despite this, the Ryzen 5 5600H has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Ryzen Threadripper 1920X has significantly more cores than the Ryzen 5 5600H. Indeed, the Ryzen Threadripper 1920X has 12 cores compared to 6 cores found in the Ryzen 5 5600H. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 5 5600H. Our comparison shows that the Ryzen Threadripper 1920X has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Ryzen 5 5600H. Furthermore, both these CPUs have identical turbo speeds. A Ryzen 5 5600H CPU outputs less heat than a Ryzen Threadripper 1920X CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Ryzen Threadripper 1920X has significantly more L2 cache than the Ryzen 5 5600H. The Ryzen Threadripper 1920X also has significantly more L3 cache.

Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. Indeed, the Ryzen 5 5600H has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
