Ryzen 5 5600H vs Core i7-11700K specs and performance
In our benchmarks, the Core i7-11700K beats the Ryzen 5 5600H in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 5 5600H in all gaming tests too.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Core i7-11700K has slightly more cores than the Ryzen 5 5600H. Indeed, the Core i7-11700K has 8 cores compared to 6 cores found in the Ryzen 5 5600H. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 5 5600H. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i7-11700K has a slightly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 5 5600H. Also, the Core i7-11700K has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Ryzen 5 5600H CPU outputs less heat than a Core i7-11700K CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the Core i7-11700K has more L2 cache than the Ryzen 5 5600H. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Ryzen 5 5600H has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
