Ryzen 5 5600H vs Core i5-11400T specs and performance

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Ryzen 5 5600H performs better than the Core i5-11400T. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i5-11400T in all gaming tests too.

Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 5 5600H has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i5-11400T. Also, the Ryzen 5 5600H has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Core i5-11400T outputs less heat than Ryzen 5 5600H thanks to a slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, both these CPUs have the same amount of L2 cache. The Ryzen 5 5600H also has slightly more L3 cache.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Ryzen 5 5600H has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
