Ryzen 5 4600G vs Core i7-1360P specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-1360P is faster than the Ryzen 5 4600G. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 5 4600G in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i7-1360P has significantly more cores with 12 cores whereas the Ryzen 5 4600G has 6 cores. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 5 4600G. Our comparison shows that the Ryzen 5 4600G has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Core i7-1360P. Despite this, the Core i7-1360P has a slightly higher turbo speed. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Core i7-1360P has slightly more L2 cache than the Ryzen 5 4600G. The Core i7-1360P also has significantly more L3 cache.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Ryzen 5 4600G has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
