Ryzen 5 4500U vs Xeon W-2223 benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Ryzen 5 4500U is faster than the Xeon W-2223. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Xeon W-2223 in all gaming tests too.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Ryzen 5 4500U has significantly more cores with 6 cores compared to the Xeon W-2223 that has 4 cores. Despite this, the Xeon W-2223 has more threads than the Ryzen 5 4500U. Our comparison shows that the Xeon W-2223 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Ryzen 5 4500U. A Ryzen 5 4500U CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon W-2223 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Ryzen 5 4500U has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
