Ryzen 5 4500U vs Core i3-10110U benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Ryzen 5 4500U is faster than the Core i3-10110U. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i3-10110U in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Ryzen 5 4500U has significantly more cores with 6 cores whereas the Core i3-10110U has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i3-10110U. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 5 4500U has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core i3-10110U. Despite this, the Core i3-10110U has a slightly higher turbo speed. Both these chips have an identical TDP (Thermal Design Power). This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the Ryzen 5 4500U has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i3-10110U. The Ryzen 5 4500U also has significantly more L3 cache.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Ryzen 5 4500U has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
