Ryzen 5 4500U vs A6-5200 comparison
In our benchmarks, the Ryzen 5 4500U beats the A6-5200 in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A6-5200 in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Ryzen 5 4500U has significantly more cores with 6 cores whereas the A6-5200 has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the A6-5200. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Ryzen 5 4500U has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the A6-5200. A Ryzen 5 4500U CPU outputs less heat than a A6-5200 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the Ryzen 5 4500U has more L2 cache than the A6-5200
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Ryzen 5 4500U has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
