Ryzen 5 3500X vs Xeon E5-2670 v2 benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the Xeon E5-2670 v2 beats the Ryzen 5 3500X in overall performance. Despite this, the Ryzen 5 3500X has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
With info from our database, we find that the Xeon E5-2670 v2 has significantly more cores with 10 cores whereas the Ryzen 5 3500X has 6 cores. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 5 3500X. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 5 3500X has a significantly higher clock speed than the Xeon E5-2670 v2. Also, the Ryzen 5 3500X has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Ryzen 5 3500X CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon E5-2670 v2 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
