Ryzen 5 3500X vs Xeon E5-2650 v2 specs and performance

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Ryzen 5 3500X performs better than the Xeon E5-2650 v2. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Xeon E5-2650 v2 in all gaming tests too.

When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Xeon E5-2650 v2 has slightly more cores with 8 cores compared to the Ryzen 5 3500X that has 6 cores.
