Ryzen 5 3500 vs Core i7-9850H specs and performance
In our benchmarks, the Core i7-9850H beats the Ryzen 5 3500 in overall performance. Despite this, the Ryzen 5 3500 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores but the Core i7-9850H has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 5 3500 has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core i7-9850H. The Core i7-9850H outputs less heat than Ryzen 5 3500 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the Ryzen 5 3500 has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i7-9850H. The Ryzen 5 3500 also has slightly more L3 cache.
