Ryzen 5 3500 vs Core i7-11700 benchmarks

In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Core i7-11700 has slightly more cores than the Ryzen 5 3500. Indeed, the Core i7-11700 has 8 cores compared to 6 cores found in the Ryzen 5 3500. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 5 3500. Our comparison shows that the Ryzen 5 3500 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Core i7-11700. A Ryzen 5 3500 CPU outputs less heat than a Core i7-11700 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Core i7-11700 has slightly more L2 cache than the Ryzen 5 3500. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.
