Ryzen 5 3500 vs Core i5-9600KF benchmarks

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i5-9600KF performs better than the Ryzen 5 3500. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 5 3500 in all gaming tests too.

Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i5-9600KF has a slightly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 5 3500. A Ryzen 5 3500 CPU outputs less heat than a Core i5-9600KF CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the Ryzen 5 3500 has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i5-9600KF. The Ryzen 5 3500 also has significantly more L3 cache.

Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Ryzen 5 3500 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
