Ryzen 5 3350G vs Core i5-9600KF specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i5-9600KF is faster than the Ryzen 5 3350G. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 5 3350G in all gaming tests too.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Core i5-9600KF has significantly more cores with 6 cores compared to the Ryzen 5 3350G that has 4 cores. Despite this, the Ryzen 5 3350G has more threads than the Core i5-9600KF. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i5-9600KF has a slightly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 5 3350G. A Ryzen 5 3350G CPU outputs less heat than a Core i5-9600KF CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. Indeed, the Ryzen 5 3350G has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
