Ryzen 5 2600X vs Core i9-13900H benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i9-13900H is faster than the Ryzen 5 2600X. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 5 2600X in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i9-13900H has significantly more cores with 14 cores whereas the Ryzen 5 2600X has 6 cores. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 5 2600X. Our comparison shows that the Ryzen 5 2600X has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i9-13900H. Despite this, the Core i9-13900H has a slightly higher turbo speed. In terms of cache, the Core i9-13900H has slightly more L2 cache when compared to the Ryzen 5 2600X. The Core i9-13900H also has significantly more L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Ryzen 5 2600X has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
