Ryzen 5 2600X vs Core i5-11400H benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i5-11400H is faster than the Ryzen 5 2600X. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 5 2600X in all gaming tests too.
Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores and the same number of threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Ryzen 5 2600X has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i5-11400H. Despite this, the Core i5-11400H has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Core i5-11400H outputs less heat than Ryzen 5 2600X thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the Core i5-11400H has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Ryzen 5 2600X. Despite this, the Ryzen 5 2600X has slightly more L3 cache compared to the Core i5-11400H.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Ryzen 5 2600X has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
