Ryzen 5 2600 vs A10-7850K comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Ryzen 5 2600 is faster than the A10-7850K. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A10-7850K in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Ryzen 5 2600 has significantly more cores with 6 cores whereas the A10-7850K has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the A10-7850K. With our hardware info, we find that the A10-7850K has a slightly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 5 2600. A Ryzen 5 2600 CPU outputs less heat than a A10-7850K CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the A10-7850K has slightly more L2 cache when compared to the Ryzen 5 2600
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. Indeed, the Ryzen 5 2600 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
