Ryzen 5 1600 vs Core i7-8700K benchmarks

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-8700K is faster than the Ryzen 5 1600. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 5 1600 in all gaming tests too.

Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i7-8700K has a slightly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 5 1600. Also, the Core i7-8700K has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Ryzen 5 1600 CPU outputs less heat than a Core i7-8700K CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
