In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Xeon E5-2687W has significantly more cores than the Ryzen 5 1500X. Indeed, the Xeon E5-2687W has 8 cores compared to 4 cores found in the Ryzen 5 1500X. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 5 1500X. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Ryzen 5 1500X has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Xeon E5-2687W. Despite this, the Xeon E5-2687W has a slightly higher turbo speed.
