Ryzen 5 1500X vs Ryzen 7 3750H comparison

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Ryzen 5 1500X performs better than the Ryzen 7 3750H. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 7 3750H in all gaming tests too.

When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 5 1500X has a significantly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 7 3750H. The Ryzen 7 3750H outputs less heat than Ryzen 5 1500X thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, both these CPUs have the same amount of L2 cache. The Ryzen 5 1500X also has significantly more L3 cache.

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Ryzen 5 1500X has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
