Ryzen 5 1500X vs Core i5-9600K benchmarks

In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Core i5-9600K has significantly more cores than the Ryzen 5 1500X. Indeed, the Core i5-9600K has 6 cores compared to 4 cores found in the Ryzen 5 1500X. Despite this, the Ryzen 5 1500X has more threads than the Core i5-9600K. Our comparison shows that the Core i5-9600K has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Ryzen 5 1500X. Also, the Core i5-9600K has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Ryzen 5 1500X CPU outputs less heat than a Core i5-9600K CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Ryzen 5 1500X has slightly more L2 cache than the Core i5-9600K. The Ryzen 5 1500X also has significantly more L3 cache.
