Ryzen 3 4300U vs Xeon W3680 specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Xeon W3680 is faster than the Ryzen 3 4300U. Despite this, the Ryzen 3 4300U has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Xeon W3680 has significantly more cores with 6 cores compared to the Ryzen 3 4300U that has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 3 4300U. With our hardware info, we find that the Xeon W3680 has a slightly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 3 4300U. Despite this, the Ryzen 3 4300U has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Ryzen 3 4300U CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon W3680 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Xeon W3680 has significantly more L2 cache than the Ryzen 3 4300U
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Ryzen 3 4300U has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
