When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Xeon E5-2660 v3 has significantly more cores with 10 cores compared to the Ryzen 3 4300U that has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 3 4300U. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Ryzen 3 4300U has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Xeon E5-2660 v3. Also, the Ryzen 3 4300U has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Ryzen 3 4300U CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon E5-2660 v3 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
