Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Ryzen 3 4300U performs better than the Xeon E3-1231 v3. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Xeon E3-1231 v3 in all gaming tests too.

When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores but the Xeon E3-1231 v3 has more threads.
