Ryzen 3 4300U vs Xeon E-2276M comparison

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Xeon E-2276M performs better than the Ryzen 3 4300U. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 3 4300U in all gaming tests too.

When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Xeon E-2276M has significantly more cores with 6 cores compared to the Ryzen 3 4300U that has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 3 4300U. With our hardware info, we find that the Xeon E-2276M has a slightly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 3 4300U. Also, the Xeon E-2276M has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Ryzen 3 4300U CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon E-2276M CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the Ryzen 3 4300U has more L2 cache than the Xeon E-2276M. Despite this, the Xeon E-2276M has significantly more L3 cache compared to the Ryzen 3 4300U.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Ryzen 3 4300U has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
