Ryzen 3 4300U vs Ryzen 7 3750H specs and performance
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Ryzen 3 4300U performs better than the Ryzen 7 3750H. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 7 3750H in all gaming tests too.
When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores but the Ryzen 7 3750H has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 3 4300U has a slightly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 7 3750H. A Ryzen 3 4300U CPU outputs less heat than a Ryzen 7 3750H CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The data shows that both these CPUs have same sized L2 caches and L3 cache.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Ryzen 3 4300U has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
