Ryzen 3 4300U vs Core i5-10500T comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i5-10500T is faster than the Ryzen 3 4300U. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 3 4300U in all gaming tests too.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Core i5-10500T has significantly more cores than the Ryzen 3 4300U. Indeed, the Core i5-10500T has 6 cores compared to 4 cores found in the Ryzen 3 4300U. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 3 4300U. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 3 4300U has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core i5-10500T. Despite this, the Core i5-10500T has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Ryzen 3 4300U CPU outputs less heat than a Core i5-10500T CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Ryzen 3 4300U has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
